The Scottish Baseball Player, Bobby Thomson Passed Away

The Baseball Legend Player, Bobby Thomson died at an age of 86.  He is the most famous baseball player and he was well known in the year 1951. Thompson was nicknamed by the homerun as ‘Shot Heard “Round the World”.

Bobby Thomson’s daughter, Megan Thomson announced to media that due to severe health problems Thomson has died. Thomson died at his home town, Savannah yesterday. 

Bobby Thomson is well known for his right handed batting. He was a baseball league outfielder for the New York Giants team. In the year 1951, Thompson achieved his career-high score of 32 home runs in his career. Thompson has played his last baseball game in 1960 against Baltimore Orioles. In his entire MLB career, Bobby Thomson has made 264 home runs, 270 batting average and 1026 runs batted.

Bobby Thomson played for MLB teams such as New York Giants, Baltimore Orioles, Chicago Cubs, Boston Red Sox and Milwaukee Braves from the year 1946 to 1960.
