NBA Player Rajon Rondo Withdraws from Team USA

Rando withdrew from Athens, where USA basketball team will play Greece tomorrow night. The US Basketball team finalized its roster for the world championship. Rondo started the Americans first two exhibition games, but he didn’t play on Sunday when the US edged Spain.

"I think I'm on the bubble," Rondo told reporters. "Just looking at the obvious -- I got a DNP last game. That pretty much speaks for itself."

On Tuesday, NBA finalized the 12-man roster such as Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, Rudy Gay, Lamar Odom, Chauncey Billups, Danny Granger, Russell Westbrook, Eric Gordon, Stephen Curry, Kevin Love, Tyson Chandler and Andre Iguodala.

Mike Krzyzewski’s team has one more chance against Greece on Wednesday. The world Championship starts on Saturday in turkey and ends on Sep 12.
