On Thursday, Texans Linebacker, Brian Cushing suspended for four games and he is not eligible to play till October.
The Association Press states that, defensive Jerod Mayo was also suspended in May for the HCG drug usage that is mention in the NFL banned list. Cushing claims that he is fit with medical conditions.
NFL states that, the request of Texans owner Bob McNair, Commissioner reviewed the medical information provided on behalf of Cushing.
“We move forward. One guy goes down, the next guy just steps in,” fellow linebacker, DeMeco Ryans said. “Expectations don’t drop. We just keep pushing.”
Cushing will miss the games against Indianapolis, Washington, Dallas and Oakland before getting the eligibility on Oct 10. He missed practice on Thursday because of the foot injury and was not available to comment regarding his ban. Crushing suspension will not reflect the Houston Texans preseason.
