USC Replaces Baseball Coach

The USC baseball coach, Chad Kreuter was replaced by Frank Cruz for the 2011 baseball season due to his poor performance. Haden has appointed Frank Cruz as an interim coach for 2011.

Earlier, Frank Cruz was a coach for Loyola Marymount from 1997-2008. Haden said that it’s necessary to change Chad Kreuter as a coach to improve the team’s activity and programs and to get back to be championship ways. Till now, USC has won 12 World Series titles. Since 2005, the USC Trojans has not participated in any NCAA tournaments.

The USC was over all 28-32 overall and 7-20 in the Pacific 10 in the last season concluding in last place. Chad Kreuter was suspended as he failed to attend the postseason in his four seasons and set a record of 111-117 (.487). The other coaches on the USC list are George Horton, Rich Hill and Dave Serrano.
