Somdev is Ineligible for Toronto Masters

The Indian tennis player, Somdev fails to qualify for the Toronto Masters. Somdev, 25, stood in top 100 in ATP ranking in last week, but now Somdev has dropped nearly 15 rankings according to the chart released on Monday. The current rank is 111. This Toronto master’s event prize money would be around $2,430,000.
Somdev scored 6-4, 3-6, 6-7(10) against the Uzbek Denis Istomin in the last final round, so disqualified for the Toronto masters. The famous women tennis player, Sania Mirza lost her rankings and stood at 153rd position.
The men’s player, Czech Lukas Dlouhy and Leander Paes stood in the third position while Max Mirnyi and Bhupathi stood in the fourth position. All these four players quit in the first round. Leander Paes stood in 73rd position in 1998 and later, he decided to play the doubles. Somdev is struggling a lot to get back to his rank again.
