NHL Investigates Players Contracts: Marian Hossa Status?

Today, NHL announced that they will start investigating the entire NHL player’s contract as there were problems with the contracts of few NHL players such as Chris progner, Marian Hossa and Roberto Luongo.

On July 1st 2009, Marian Hossa has signed on a 12-year contract with Chicago Black hawks that worth $62.8 Million. The contract for 8 years is still in due that worth $59.3 million and that comes to an average of $5.2 million per season. Now, the contract and other associated things of Chicago Black hawks would be changed due to the effect of investigation.

Now, NHL is in plans to review the contracts of Hossa and Blackhawks as they are looking to change the rules. Also, they are going to apply the same rules to Marian Hosss deal.

If NHL continues to investigate in the same way, then there will be an end to contract of all the players. Players who signed the deal may be fined $5 million.
