Merriman Refuses to Join Back San Diego Chargers

Sources close to the team San Diego Chargers reported that Shawne Merriman is going to join the training camp of Chargers in the coming week. But, Merriman refused the same via his Twitter. Interesting is, he says that news was spread by the team but not through any other sources.

Merriman is the outside linebacker of chargers. Now, he joins the party of wide receiver, Vincent Jackson and offensive tackle, Marcus McNeill. All the three players are unavailable for the training camp. Till they get the desired amount, they aren’t gonna join the training camp.

Larry English accepted the offer of Chargers second-year pro groom after replacement of Merriman. But, the close source of team has denied and argued that Merriman will join back the Chargers.

The Chargers had toughest challenge with three star players holding out because of their contracts. However, it’s not confirmed yet. There are few questions for Chargers about the entry of Jackson and McNeill in pre season, regular season and also on their pay increase. They remain unanswered.
