UNC Linebacker, Ty Linton Deal with Arizona Diamondbacks

Ty Linton signed with Arizona Diamondbacks on Monday. Ty Linton is a multi sport player and he got a chance to play both baseball and football at North Carolina. For this deal, Ty Linton will receive an amount of $1.25 million as a bonus, which was confirmed by his high school coach, Greg Simmons.

Greg Simmons stated that, Ty Linton signed the contract one hour before the deadline on Monday night. Linton has to play for the baseball game this weekend going to be happened in Montana. Currently, Ty Linton is practicing the football in the Chapel Hill.

The Tar Heels coach, Butch Davis stated that, Ty Linton has performed very well in the football training camp. Linton has also some special interest to continue with the baseball.

Linton will get more signing bonus when he steps into the 14th-round pick.
