Lou Piniella says Goodbye to Baseball after Half Century

On Sunday, Lou Piniella says the final goodbye after a half century in baseball, after all the wins and all the losses and all those arguments.

It was a hard part that he cried a little bit after the game and he get emotional, said Chicago Club manager, Piniella. It was the last time he wear the uniform.

Lou Piniella announced in Cubs- Atlanta game that he was retiring immediately after this game and he plans to spend his time with his mother.

Piniella said,” My mom needs me home and that’s where I am going”.

In his final career game he gave up 11 runs over the final three innings to 23 games under 500. For piniella it’s a good day to remember and also it’s a good day to forget.
Atlanta manager Bobby Cox and piniella both are friends and Cox was announced to the crowd and took his cap off and waved it to the fans. Piniella teared up at home plate at the time umpires wished him well.
