Arjun Atwal Wins PGA Title

The first Indian golf player, Arjun Atwal wins the Wyndham Championship. Arjun Atwal has scored 20-under-par 260 against the American golf player, David Toms by one stroke and won the PGA title. For this achievement, Atwal has been awarded with an amount of $918,000 for his winning victory.

The 37 year old, Arjun Atwal is a proficient golf player who played European tour, Asian tour and PGA tour. Atwal stated that, he is feeling very happy for winning the PGA tour title by one stroke. Arjun Atwal is the first Monday qualifier person to win the tournament in PGA tournament in 24 years.

David Toms has scored 19-under 201 and the other PGA players, John Mallinger and Michael Sim was shot at 62s and joined with John Rollins (65) and Justin Leonard (65) at 202.

Three years ago, Arjun Atwal was concerned in a deadly car accident in Orlando and killed a Florida man. The witnesses stated to police that “Atwal was driving a BMW sedan, and the other drivers were as street racing”.
