Richard Bloomfield Skips From CWG

The Men’s tennis player, Richard Bloomfield skips from common wealth games due to severe injury at the tournament in France. His position was replaced by, Josh Goodall to play in CWG for England and the tennis tournament is going to start from next Monday onwards.

Bloomfield stated that "I'm so disappointed to miss out on the Commonwealth Games and I was really looking forward to representing my country.” Bloomfield also stated that, he had a back injury and he needs two to three weeks bed rest to heal the injury.

Currently, Bloomfield is ranked 301 in the world’s tennis rankings. In 2001, he won the British Junior Tennis Championship by playing against, Alex Bogdanovic and defeating him.
