The Indian Billiards Player, Sourav Kothari receives the wild card to play for World Billiard Championship. From Friday onwards, the game is going to start in Pune. The World Billiards team has got talented players such as Pankaj Advani, Geet Sethi, Devendra Joshi, Alok Kumar, and Ashok Shandilya etc.
Sourav Kothari, 25, son of Manoj Kothari, who was the ex-world billiard champion and also the Indian billiard coach.
Sourav Kothari stated that “I am going to play the eighth world championship and I am ranked in the second position in snooker from India”. Mike Russell, who won the championship for 9 times is going to play after gap of four years and also, the Singapore player, Peter Gilchrist is going to Pune for the world billiard championship.
