World Badminton: Saina Nehwal Enters Third Round

Saina Nehwal enters into third round of World badminton championship on Wednesday. Nehwal played against the Chinese badminton player, Chen Hsiao Huan and scored 20-22, 21-15, 21-8 in 47 minutes.

Saina stated that, “It was not easy getting into the gear as the last I played on this court was on Sunday. So, the three-day wait was bound to affect me in some ways,”

Currently, Saina Nehwal is ranked world no.2 in Badminton. Saina is the first Indian woman to win world junior badminton championship.

Saina has lost the game in the first round. In the second round, she performed very well and wins against Huan. Saina will face the next match with the Malaysian player, Mew Choo Wong and the Russian player, Ella Diehl.
