Yesterday, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced that, they are sending Tamim Iqbal to Australia for an injury check-up.
After a long break, Tamim played on last Monday, but he complained that still there was pain in his left hand which is not allowing him to play properly.
According to BCB, he will go the Australia as soon as he get visa. BCB took the decision after discussing the matter with Michael Henry (Physio). Tamim at least be mentally satisfied to take check-up at Australia.
Tamim injured in Chittagong match against Zimbabwe on Nov 5th 2009. Based on the scanning reports, his wrist gets hairline fracture and doctors advised that he needs to take at least 6 months rest. He tries to play in the Lord’s Test against England and he struggled with the injury through out the tour.
