On the opening day of 64th Senior National swimming championship, Sandeep Sejwal has made a record of 200m breast stroke and has won two gold medals. Sejwal has won his first gold after his railways team won the national record at 4:00.55 sec.
Sandeep Sejwal has better record of 2:17.92 when compared to the last year 2006 with 2:18.85. The other senior swimmers, Puneet Rana, Aditya Roshan stood in the second and third places in completing the race at 2:21.06 and 2:35.53 sec.
The bronze medal was won by; Praveen Tokas completed the race in the time of 2:08.92 sec.
