NFL Owners Increases NFL Regular Season to 18 Games


NFL Owners eagerly plans to increase the regular season from 16 to 18 games. But, the players are not sure with the proposal. After the 5 hours meeting at a posh hotel in downtown Atlanta, the NFL owner’s plans to add two more games to the regular season.

The owners would like to agree the season at 20 week, there by reducing the preseason games from four to two. According to Matt Wilhelm, players want to be compensated for two more games.

The team Owners too agreed and approved Stan Kroenke’s proposal to purchase major ownership of the St. Louis Rams. St. Louis Rams owns two other teams NBA’s Denver Nuggets and NHL’s Colorado Avalanche handled by his son.

“We want to do it the right way for everyone, including the players, the fans and the game in general,” Goodell said. “There’s a tremendous amount of momentum for it. We think it’s the right step.”
