On Sunday, Hibernian won against Motherwell in the Scottish Premier League. Hibernian scored 3 goals and Motherwell scored 2 goals at Anfield.
Hibernian Manager, John Hughes said: "For the first 25 minutes Motherwell was the better team but I felt we were the better team in the second half. I've seen us play better football but it was a case of doing what we had to do to win the football match."
Motherwell manager, Craig Brown said: "We had chances in the first half to be in an unassailable lead. We fault ourselves for not taking those chances and, credit to Hibs, they battled back."
In the 13th minute, J Sutton from Motherwell team scored a goal. At the 47th minute, A Stokes from Hibernian scored a goal and leveled the score.
Later, in the 64th minute and 73rd minute, P Hanlon and L Miller from Hibernian scored a goal and Hibernian moved to 3-1 leading. In the 75th minute, J Murphy from Motherwell scored a goal, with that goal Motherwell moved to 2-3. Hibernian did not allow Motherwell to score and the match was won by Hibernian.
In the next match, Hibernian will play with Rangers on August 22nd, 2010. Motherwell will play with Kilmarnock in their next match on the same day.
