Eli Manning left a game against the New York Jets after suffering a 3-inch gash with 12 stitches to his head on Monday night.
New York Giants Eli Manning declares himself that he is doing fine. Manning admitted that, "I feel fine. I feel normal," "The play was my fault. We had a run play with an option to throw a fade that I thought I might try, but Brandon was coming right up the middle. Sometimes you make a mistake and you get hit in the head. It's preseason, you learn from it."
Manning was hurt while he had a clash with giants RB, Brandon Jacobs. He was hit by Jets LB, Calvin Pace and then his face bounces off the facemask.
In the second quarter, the Giants pulled manning from the game after the play which was left with 10:45 mins.
