Marina Erakovic Leads Tennis Doubles in CWG

Marina Erakovic from New Zealand leads the Tennis games which are going to happen in Common Wealth Games. She is the former top 50 player and will head four tennis games from New Zealand at common wealth games in New Delhi. In the world tennis doubles, Maria Erakovic was ranked 114th with her partner, Ellen Barry. The men’s tennis doubles will be performed by Marcus Daniell and Rubin Statham.
The Common Wealth Games is going to start on Oct 3rd and all the players will compete in singles. This time, tennis will give its first appearance in CWG.
The Olympic secretary for New Zealand, Barry Maister stated that, he wants to see the New Zealand tennis in CWG and playing tennis doubles is first time introduced in CWG and it’s very difficult to predict the tennis doubles player’s performances.
Currently for the selection of tennis doubles, Sacha Jones and Dan King-Turner are unavailable. Below, you can see the tennis player’s list for CWG.
